SAGU’s Teacher Education Program is approved by the Texas Education Agency. They also hold a number of prestigious program accreditations. This allows SAGU SoCAL to offer an Internship program for year 1 and 2 students. While pursuing your studies you will be spending your first two years in an internship in various ministry tracks of your choosing. These ministry tracks will provide the foundation for future leadership while receiving college credit. SAGU SoCAL believes in allowing students to put their studies into practice in real life opportunities at the local church. Learn how to LEAD others from leaders who have demonstrated a legacy of excellence. Students receive maximum opportunity to lead varying kinds of ministries through the Protégé Program. Apply to be selected for the Protégé Program, which may also include scholarship through Visalia First. A student can complete the Protégé Program in Junior or Senior year (year 3 and 4). Student's who complete Protégé Program in good standing, will leave with a recommendation from Visalia First and excelled ministry experience.
